Flow
Rate
Flow
rate is the rate at which the water streams. Some factors that influence
flow rate are depth and volume of water and rainfall.
Procedures:
· We measured out 50 feet or 15.5 meters of tape measure.
· Then we threw out a tennis ball or a orange into the middle
of the river.
· Then we started the stop watch when the object reaches
the beginning of the tape.
· When the object reaches the end of the 50 feet mark, we
stop the stop watch and record the time.
